Welcome to my site. This is the summary...

I am occupied with work and finishing my graduate work and hope to have this site completed and live sometime in December. Its taken forever but I am no slacker, I promise. I am currently busy at my new job as a User Experience Professional at IBM during the day, while I concentrate on finishing my coursework four nights per week. I have begun work on my thesis project,
which I will complete and defend in May of 2009. On Friday evenings and on weekends, I spend every second I can with my little boy/sidekick/grounding agent Julian and my lovely wife Alison. In January, I should finally have some time to devote to the completion of this project…stay tuned. I am working on my thesis for graduate school this semester I am investigating best practices for using delimiter in tagging interfaces. It is an incredibly micro-level UI/UX issue, but an incredibly important issue, IMO. I plan to perform some pretty extensive usability testing on UI’s that employ various means of delimitation and then aggregate my findings into an online pattern library/recommendations for best practices for tagging.
